Dear & I arrive at Fantasyland where Fairytales spring from Storybook Pages in the Land of Castles, Princesses & Flying Elephants………….Upon stepping in - The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh greet us with its GIANT Storybook Page of Chapter 1 in which Pooh begins his Search for Honey in a Very Enchanted Place : 

We soon see the Pooh’s Playground Spot - where the Poohs Tree-House towers over the entire whimsical Playround based on the The Hundred Acre Wood - haha wish I’ve got the leisure time to go play in there!!

But anyway, Dear & I feel extremely light & free as we roam in the not-so-packed Fantasyland of the Magical Kingdom of Walt Disney World in the lovely sunny with bright Blue sky morning hours - enjoying the fresh chilling environment we never get to see back in our hometown Singapore :

Then we come across something very new to our eyes - a Baby Stroller Parking Lot - in the middle of Fantasyland!! Heheh back in Singapore we can only see Vehicle & Bicycle Parking lots but never this!!

And that’s a very interesting & a most considerate facility for visitors with Babies who could just dump their Prams & Strollers with their Baby necessities & accessories such as bottles, pampers, toys, sweaters etc, at these designated areas without even having to lock them away!!

Haha Americans are just so great & smart!! But Dear & I wonder if any of the Baby stuffs will ever get stolen at all.

Here below’s Dumbo the Flying Elephant - a Disney’s classic 1955 attraction where children get to take on flights on Dumbo flying with his Huge Ears, supervised by Timothy Mouse in the Centre hub :

And now I hear Dear shouting to me that it’s the Cinderella’s Golden Carousel!! Hahah cos he knows I always adore Carousels!!! And let me share with you this - Cinderella’s own Horse can be found on the 2nd rank of horses here - the only one with a Golden Bow on its Tail!!!

And way ahead of the Cinderella Golden Carousel lies the 190 feet tall Cinderella Castle, which is built in 1917 where no bricks were used in the construction, but a steel braced frame. The Castle’s interior design is home to Cinderella’s Suite in Tower 20 which was originally built for Walt Disney & his Family. And guests who won the previous runnings of Year of A Million Dreams actually got to stay at the Cinderella’s Penthouse Suite in Tower 20 as Princes or Princesses - a magical paradise on Earth!!

Nevertheless, Me standing at the scene of this enchanting beauty makes me feel like a Princess in my own Fantasyland heheh!!

And when I say Fantasyland I mean Fantasyland Shopping in this most lovely Fantasyland Cottage-house Fairy Treasures!!!

And just outside of Fairy Treasures sitting infront of the Cinderella’s Golden Carousel stands THE SWORD IN THE STONE - based on the Walt Disney Animated Film whereby the Sword is magically embedded in a Stone so that only the Future, true-born King of England would be able to remove it - & a young boy named Arthur (or Wart), whose Tutor is a Magician named Merlyn, were to become the future King Authur of England - However I just realised that I’ve only taken a pic of the Stone but not the Sword!!!

Dear & I next shop in the following Fantasyland Souvenir Store which has a gigantic Money Plant running upwards & coiling around its chimney :

And from here, I got myself a most beautiful Magic Kingdom T-shirt filled with Disney Characters centering around Cinderella Castle - love it at first sight!!

Best of all, it’s of 100% Cotton & MADE IN USA heheh!!

Dear & I later watched Mickey’s PhilharMagic which was a magcial 3-D Fantasy experience both of us enjoyed - we were lucky cos it was still pretty early before past 10 am when there’re very short queues to the Attraction.

And the Theatre exits to the following Souvenir Store called Fantasy Faire - Hmmm……….I just love all the FANTASY names to the individual Stores!!!

And there’re even IT’S MY BIRTHDAY T-shirts (kids to adults sizes) available here!! Haha Walt Disney World’s really so smart to even have these since they’re promoting their newest “What Will You Celebrate” Theme in this 2009 New Year!!

And the T-shirt suits Dear perfectly since it’s his Birthday today!! Besides I find it really cool too, so I keep bugging him to let me buy one for him but he isn’t very interested as he puts it “Aiya, I can only wear it for a day on my Birthday, & not other days - No point la!!” Heheh so there goes my ‘another’ attempt on picking a Birthday gift for him………cos I’ve not even bought his present till now!!

Reasons being I’d been too busy over the Chinese Lunar New Year festival back home in Singapore before our Trip to America to go hunt for his gift, & my plan is to sneak away from him while we’re here in USA, so that I can go find something really unique & special from here for him!! And the problem is he’s always with me, never out of my sight for long, all the time since departing from Singapore!!

And upon touching down at Minnesota during our Transit yesterday, I’d wanted to get him the Black Bear with Green Jumper on the pretext that I like it so much!!! Actually I do!! I do adore it but too bad I never get it cos Dear says he doesn’t like it so Black!! So there goes my very 1st attempt on trying to get him a Birthday gift!! 

And now my 2nd attempt has also failed hahah!!!

So I ask Dear to pick his own Birthday gift - which he happily & eagerly does heheh!! And the result is the following most charming 2009 Walt Disney World Mickey Mouse whom we name Micktie :

Why Micktie with “2009” & “Walt Disney World“?

Well, cos Dear has always liked Mickey Mouses, & this year marks a most Special big year for Dear cos he gets to attend his dream - SolidWorks World 2009 Conference - in Orlando, as well as achieving his childhood dream of coming to Walt Disney World - what’s even best is he’s here on his Birthday!!! Plus of course just being here in America!! That’s like - fulfilling 4 BIG Dreams in a row!! Haha Dear must be the World’s LUCKIEST guy right now!!!!

And here’s half naked Micktie - haha we never really knew, or rather remember, that Micktie’s BLACK by nature!! Haha Dear still ends up with a pretty Black gift from America heheh!! And come to think about it - No wonder Dear likes Michael Jackson alot cos he does look like Micktie who’s Black on his body, but White on his face heheh!!! Besides, both Michael & Micktie like wearing WHITE Gloves hahah!!

Notice that Micktie’s Shorts are of the same material & designs as his inner Jumper Hood, & his Sneakers also have prints of “09″ on both sides!! Even his sneaker’s sole has got a Mickey head-shaped with “2009″ & “Walt Disney World” on it!!

Most glad that Dear has already got his Birthday present, I continue to shop for my own Disney souvenirs at Fantasy Faire. And here’s my 2009 Walt Disney World Photo Frame Souvenir Magnet :

HEY wait a minute - haven’t I already got this tee!?!? Well, I mean same prints but different colored!?!

Hahah YES YES on much closer & more specific looks - YES I’ve actually already got the same tee - the purple-colored one which I featured earlier - the one which I bought earlier before watching Mickey’s PhilharMagic - hahah so blur Sotong Me!!

But well, guess I couldn’t help it at all upon seeing all these lovely Disney Characters surrounding my favourite Cinderella Castle!! Besides its dyed pinkish purplish color just put on an extra smile to my face tempting me to have it heheh!!

Afterall, this T-shirt is also of very smooth comfortable 100% Cotton & MADE IN USA, though it’s being assembled in Honduras. Well, I just love American stuffs cos I think they’re of really good quality, though their prices may be a little steep but it’s all worth it for me!!

And well, it’s been lots of fun shopping in Fantasyland especially in these morning hours where there’re not many people around, & I can afford to walk briskly in & out of almost every Souvenir Store that I can find, & browsing through quickly with no disturbances from other fellow shoppers - as you know, time is really precious considering Dear & I have got only a day here in Magic Kingdom!!

But I’ve to be contented with this short shopping spree at Fantasyland cos there’s still a whole load of fun & many Attractions out there in Magic Kingdom waiting for us!!!
