Hmm…….Dear’s Birthstone is Amethyst & the folklore attached to this Gem associates it with sobriety, tranquility, protection & peace!! And wearing Amethyst is believed to improve the skin & prevent baldness, as well as protetcs one from deceit.

Here’s my very lovely Amethyst Pendant which was a gift from my beautiful Mom during her overseas travelling with Dad many years ago :

And being born in the month of August, my Birthstone is Peridot - associated with love, truth, faithfullness, loyalty, fame & dignity. And wearing Peridot is linked with protection against evil & night terrors, & it’s reputed to be effective for health problems relating to lungs, lymph, breast & sinuses.

And this’s my precious Peridot Pendant which was a present from Dear on Valentine’s Day 10 years ago while we were still dating :

Well, during our lunch with our 6 other tour mates, we found out that it was the 1st time in Hong Kong for the Puerto Rico & Swedish couple, so Dear & I were sharing with them on the whereabouts of certain places of interests & some of the special Hong Kong Cuisines & Desserts & how to go about travelling in the bustling Hong Kong.

After lunch, we bidded farewell to one another cos we would be going separate ways - the Puerto Rico & Swedish couple & another couple would be touring Hong Kong on their own, & another 2 would be visiting Lantau Island, while Dear & I would be going on our most exciting tour of Hong Kong todate!!

Heheh could you guess where that would be??! Keep on guessing……….keep on guessing…………… & I shall see you real soon!!!
