Enjoying Mythological Greece of The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida USA
Filed Under (Florida, Greece, Orlando, Shopping, Travelling, USA, World Souvenirs) by Janet on 14-02-2009
Next to Medieval Europe lies Mythological Greece of The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure
in Orlando, Florida USA where Dear & I are exploring now……….
It seems that Dear & I have been transported into a whole new world – Haha Greece – that’s some
Paradise that I’d hoped to visit some day with Dear……….but being here seems pretty much in
Greece too!!
Most lovely & romantic Greek settings adorned with mythical gods & creatures – the
Mythological Greece is indeed most enchanting :
We stop by the following Greek style Treasures of Poseidon for shopping :

Dear’s now paying for my following Universal Studios Bag – a rare treasure that I’ve just found
inside Treasures of Poseidon :
“Hey Dear what’s that!?!?” – Well, Dear & I exit Treasures of Poseidon to find the most mysterious
Creek ruins - Ancient Temple of Poseidon where the popular Attraction Show - Poseidon’s
Fury allows guests to tour the ruins of the Temple……..
Unfortunately there’s way too long a queue (till far outside the Attraction!!) for Dear & I to enjoy the
Walk-Through Show………..so we can only take pics from its outsides :
Poseiden was the God of Sea in classic mythological Greece – seen as creating new islands &
calming seas. Sailors prayed to Poseidon for safe voyages, sometimes drowning horses
for sacrifices……… When offended or ignored, he’d struck his Trident & caused chaotic
earthquakes, drownings & shipwreaks.
I’m now standing infront of an ernomous Fallen Hand Gripping Trident lying in the ruins of
Temple of Poseidon – majestically beautiful huh!!
Dear & I next check out the Mythos Restaurant housed in an extinct Volcano – voted “Number
One Theme Park Restaurant in the World” here in Mytholofical Greece of The Lost Continent
at Islands of Adventure :
Dear & I had wanted to have our lunch here inside Mythos Restaurnt but there’s already a
very long queue, including reservations in the waiting list!! We actually make a reservation too but
guess what!?!? Our turn’s estimated to be one & half hour later hahaha!! so again Dear & I have to
give it a miss
((
Menu of Mythos Restaurant :
We decide to just look inside the Greek themed Restaurant & upon stepping in, Dear & I see a
completely out of the world extraordinary sophisticated Restaurant in a Sea Cavern with
smoothened Sinous Wall :
Mythos Restaurant is decorated with Greek Mythical Creatures such as Mermaid & Flying
Horses on Iron Dividers looking mysterous & most captivating……….
And the Restaurant comes with Royal looking Maroon colored Upholstered Seats that are most
appealing making this mythological Greek themed Restaurant a most stunning dining place :
Enjoying the small Mythological Greece of The Lost Continent here at Islands of Adventure,
Dear & I feel romance & sweetness in the air as we venture into the deep mythical Greek style
arhitectural buildings & sights……….
Ta LEme (See you Later!! in Greek)!!
