It’s now Day 10 of my amazing Mysterious Silk Road of China Tour – right here at lovely Kuitun City where I arrived from heavenly Tianchi Tianshan located in Bogda Mountains - Urumqi in Xinjiang!!
So freshly prepared Chinese Muslim Buffet Breakfast that I’m eating here - I especially adore the so-ever-crunchy fresh Zucchini!!!! YUMMY YUMMY!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm GHOST CITY!!??!?!? What an amazing name to call a city in today’s modern China – right here along the Mysterious Silk Road huh?!?!? WOW that’s really so interesting!!
Just trying to figure out what this GHOST CITY is all about?!?!? Were there REAL Ghosts staying here?!?!? Are there STILL Ghosts around now??!?!?! ERRRRRRRRR scary Smooky Hrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahahahhaaa well, not exactly cos there were not, & there’re STILL, no GHOST here at GHOST CITY!! But just NAMED SO cos of its eerieeeeee sounds of blowing winds that sound like ghosts WAILING & wolves HOWLING!!!!!!!!!!
Haaa I cant wait to step into the GHOST CITY
Well NOT quite YET……………
Am really pleased to find this above Xinjiang VCD as I’d again longed watching & listening to, the Xinjiang Cultural Horse Racing Sports Games (called “Diaoyang” & “Kyz-Kuu” or “Girl Chase“) in its green pastures (shown exactly on this VCD’s cover!!), after enjoying myself so much during my last visit to the Kazaks Yurt home in Tianshan Urumqi.
Haaa of course I CAN’T RESIST not having one of these above NANGS whenever I SPOT ONE!!! Even when it’s but only a cutie tiny Mobile Ring & not edible!!! Hahaaaa cos I’m simply in love with NANGS – the real Nangs as they’re sosoosossoss delicious!!! HEY even this tiny little one here looks real yummy to me hehehee!!!
Hehehee actually I got for myself MORE bigger-sized Nangs – in the form of Key Rings :
In fact I got all the Nang Souvenirs that I could find in this Store – & these 3 they were!!

Found also these following cutie Key Rings - Effendi Nasreddin (or Ah Fan Ti) – Lendegary Uygur Literary Hero riding on his Donkey, together with his Buddy!!! Heeheeee am really happy cos I’ve heard about famous Ah Fan Ti & even visited his Sculpture back at Turpan Grape Valley Scenic Spot (Pu Tao Guo) in Tulufan – Turpan Xinjiang!!
Well, it’s after shopping time now for toilet break & a short rest before we head inside the GHOST CITY which stands right behind this Guest Service Centre :

Hehee do stay tuned for my next exploration story of this mysterious GHOST CITY – right here in my travelling updates of Mysterious Silk Road of China Trip
