Dear’s Mickey Mouse Birthday Party in Orlando, Florida USA
Filed Under (Cuisines, Florida, Orlando, Travelling, USA) by Janet on 07-02-2009
Our Hotel Shuttle Bus ride from Walt Disney World takes about an hour before Dear & I arrive at Quality Inn International where we’d be staying for the next 9 days here in Orlando, Florida USA.
Dear’s now standing at its mini Convenience Store located at the lobby – we plan to get our dinner here to eat in our Hotel Room cos we’re both very exhausted & still suffering from jet lag :
Wow Wow so many types of American Salads & Sandwiches to select from – there’re Turkey & Ham with Cheese, Roast Beef & Tuna & they all look so fresh & yummy yummy!!
And here’re the many types of American Soft Drinks – & of course the most & all-time favourite of Dear & I is American Coke!!!
And these below are Americans’ favourite Breakfast Cereals in many different varities – what great convenience of getting food & snacks & now Dear & I won’t be afraid to go hungry cos this Store closes very late everyday :
After settling for a Salad & Sandwich plus a huge bottle of Coke, Dear & I are now back in our most comfortable Hotel Room here in Quality Inn International :
And here’s a huge Walt Disney World package from Magic Kingdom which we just brought back with us – heheh could you guess what’s in there?!?!?
Couldn’t guess?!?!?! Try harder heheh…………….
Well, do you remember I mentioned in my earlier post that we’d pick up Dear’s Birthday Cake from the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom after watching SpectroMagic Floats Parade!?!? Well, here it is :
Hahah Yes, this’s Dear’s Mickey Mouse Head-shaped Birthday Cake from Magic Kingdom!! As there’s no other Cake available at the Theme Park, I decided that we should have this most extraordinary Disney creation as Dear’s Birthday Cake – since Dear adores Mickey Mouse too!
And both Dear & I love it so much!! Especially Dear who’s so excited & overjoyed upon seeing this so special & most unique Birthday Cake of his hahah!!
I specially ordered this Birthday Cake, which the Baker from the Main Street Conventionery specially made it from stratch, & upon my additional special request, adding more M & M Chocolates & extra tiny little colorful Mickey Mouse Head-shaped sugar chips to the white Mickey Mouse Ears………….
And well, if you also remember what we saw upon our first arrival at the Main Street Confectionery, you’d know that this isn’t any conventional Cake but a Crisped Rice Cake made up of Sugar, Cereals & Marshmallows :
That’s why I say it’s a really special & most unique Birthday Cake heheh!!
Here’s our huge American Lite Bite Chef Salad which we just bought from the mini Convenience Store at Quality Inn International – consisting of sliced Smoked Turkey, Ham, Swiss Cheese & Cheddar Cheese & Egg with Cherry Tomatoes, Lettuces, Purple Cabbages, Baby Greens, Carrots & Alfalfa :
And they’re also various types of Salad dressings & Sauces which come plentiful & free at the Convenience Store – & the Salads are so good!! So fresh, so crunchy & so delicious – unlike the greens that we usually have back home in Singapore which are not as fresh & good…………..
And here’s our Lite Bite Roast Beef & American Hoagie Sandwich from the Convenience Store too, which is made up of Sliced Roast Beef & American Cheese on a fresh Hoagie Roll :
Wow it looks so good it must be real delicious!!
Well, here’s when we begin Dear’s Birthday Party with our Babies - See Dear’s carrying his Birthday Gift from Me – Micktie, which we specially ”adopted” from Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom, this morning :
Haha just look at Micktie – seems that his eyes are only centered on Dear’s Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake………..& that he can’t wait to just dig it in hahah :
And now Dear’s carrying all our other Babies – Micktie’s newly met friends from fareaway Singapore – Sportie, Cutie & Smartie :
And here’re pics with Ma Ma Me :
More self-taken Family Portraits inside our Hotel Room at Quality Inn International :
And here’s a snapshot of Birthday Pa Pa with his Babies :
Soon, it’s time to sing “Happy Birthday Song” to Dear – Me singing like “Minnie” to “Mickey” Dear Dear heheh :
And it’s Cake cutting now for the very joyous Birthday man as he laughs aloud while cutting his Birthday Cake & saying “Haha it’s so HARD so HARD!!!!!!” to which I can only tell him – “It’s okie, just slice a bit for show heheh…………”
Haha, actually Dear’s been really apprehensive about getting this Crisped Rice Treat as his Birthday Cake cos he keeps saying “It’s so hard how do we cut the Cake to eat it?!?!” Haha but to me nothing’s impossible so long as you make it possible & I tell him “Aiya, don worry, just take & bite into it!!”
And here below we can see Dear’s first trying to slice off Mickey’s left white Ear…………..
And see, just like I told Dear “It’s okie we don need to cut the Cake but just take & bite!!” to which he’s doing exactly right now…………..
“Hmm………mmm…………..It’s so GOOD!……….so YUMMY!!!” says Dear upon his very first bite into his Mickey Ear Crisped Rice Birthday Cake…………..
And then I try the Mickey Ear Crisped Rice Cake too & “WOW it’s so delicious!!!” – & actually, it’s very much similar to our own traditional Chinese Crisped Rice called “Bee Pang” back home………..& that’s one of Dear’s favourite Chinese Sweets too!!
And the colorful M & M Chocolates are so fresh & so fat & yummy yummy!!
And this one’s a great Crisped Rice that we’ve just tasted - cos it tastes much much freshier & tastier & yummier, & it’s the best Crisped Rice Treat we’ve ever eaten!! Truely fantastic!!
Haha we didn’t know Americans know how to make Crisped Rice Treats or eat them too like the Chinese!! But the American ones taste exceptionally good cos guess they use Marshmallows but the Chinese don?!?!
Dear’s now eating the Roast Beef American Hoagie Sandwich topped with Mustard Sauce :
“Whoa!! Whoa!!! It’s so Big & It’s so yummy yummy!!! And there’re so much Roast Beef in there!!” – Dear showing off the Sandwich :
Look at the amount of Roast Beef sandwiched between the Hoagie Roll – & they’re really fresh & so tender & tasty- & so much quantity of them!!! Dear & I simply love Beef so much & this’s really so good!!! And so much mustard sauce – hot & spicy I just love it!!!
Though it seems a fairly simple meal, Dear & I have such a filling & most wonderful happy dinner Birthday Party here in the very warmth & comforts space of our own Hotel Room!!
Eating our huge yummy Salads & humongous Sandwich, as well as Dear’s Crisped Rice Birthday Cake, & drinking the so freezing cold superb American Coke while watching the local American TV programme & chatting at the same time – such is a most wonderful sensation that we enjoy & we feel so full in our tummies, & so pleased & simply so blessed!!
Now, here’s a really unique & most special Fairies in Fantasy Birthday Card which I’d specially picked from among my huge Cards Collection & brought with me all the way from Singapore, that I’d just given specially to Dear :
- wishing Dear a most speical & memoriable Birthday here in Orlando Florida USA, & that he gets to see in the future even more wishes & dreams of his coming true the magical ways like the way he gets to spend his fantastic beautiful day today……………
And just as the above Card which comes with “Happy Birthday Song” music, this below beautiful “Birthday Wishes” Card comes with a Big Surprise telephone “Ring” tone which is specially from Smartie, Sportie & Cutie to their Pa Pa :
- wishing Pa Pa a most merriest Birthday Party ever, & thanking Pa Pa for bringing them along on this Vacation of ours to the United States !
Heheh we enjoy our little Birthday Party of Dear very much in which Dear feels most elated & happiest that he gets to spend & celebrate his 36th Birthday here in his dreamland so faraway from home………………
Happy Happy Birthday to you my Dear Dear – remember DREAMS do come true………….& anything & everything’s possible, if you only dare dream on………….dream on…………………..

Should I Buy a Vacation Rental House Close to Disney?
Hahahaaa I’d really love to have my own Holiday Home right next to Disney world – better still right in-between Mickey & Minnie’s Country Houses ( http://www.janetong.com/travelling/mickeys-country-house-at-mickeys-toontown-fair-magic-kingdom & http://www.janetong.com/travelling/visiting-minnies-country-house-at-mickeys-toontowm-fair) in the heart of Mickey’s Toontowm Fair ( http://www.janetong.com/travelling/exploring-mickey-mouse-birthdayland-at-mickeys-toontown-fair) hahahaaa
Hey Janet,
I just wanted to post on here and Thank you for sharing Your Pictures with us.
I saw those boxes there when I was at Disney World, and when I got done shopping at My Disney Resort One Day, I had asked the cashier/hostess at the shop if they had those boxes with Mickey Carrying the Balloons, and The Castle in the Clouds, and If I could have one, because I saw those before, and I liked the artwork on it. They let me have one of those boxes.
Other Guests like you Sharing their Experiences at Disney did help make My 31st Birthday at Walt Disney World this past September a bit more magical.
I just wanted to thank you for that.
~ Dwight
