Arriving at Jiayuguan Train Station to be Greeted with a Colorful Chinese Folk Dancing Welcome Troupe, Enjoying Chinese Buffet Breakfast at Hua Yuan Hotel, then Visiting a Man-Made Lake in Jiayuguan City along the Silk Road in China on Day 4

Our Deluxe Oriental Express Train continues on the way along the Silk Road here in China……………
Finally, after almost 8 hours of overnight Train ride from Lanzhou, we arrived at Jiayuguan Train Station :

Jiayuguan is located in the Gobi Desert in the middle of Hexi Corridor which is 600km away from Lanzhou.
Jiayuguan means “Barrier of the Pleasant Valley” & it’s the Gullet of the Ancient Silk Road as well as the West Starting Point of the Great Wall of China during the Ming Dynasty…………..
Together with the local colorful Chinese Folk Dancing Troupe is a huge WELCOME BANNER greeting us from Singapore China Express Silk Road VIP Tour Group :

According to our Jiayuguan Tour Guide Xiao Ma, the above large Bungalows are for the local expatraites & their whole families working here at Jiayuguan City in China! Ahahha wish they’re our own houses too!! Gotten dream on!!!
