Back then above I remembered this huge VALLEY ESTATE Sign pretty well – as we had to always walk past it when going to, & back, from Deakin University Geelong Campus here in Waurn Ponds – & here it's placed at pretty much the same old spot - except that it's slightly smaller now :

And I cooked my very 1st Australian meal here in Waurn Ponds Geelong – stir-fry instant noodle with Carrots & meat I think hehehehh – placed next to a pretty vase of wild Australian yellow flowers plucked from along my walk home from Deakin University Geelong Campus :

And usually all my Uni room mates would gather around here at our Dinning table enjoying very sumptously cooked dinners - prepared by my Hong Konger male mates – who would usually spend up to a few hours preparing our dinner hahahaha!! But hey they cooked real good!! Very good indeed like typical Hong Kong chefs!!! Ohhh how I miss those Hong Kong cuisines!!!! Yummy Yummy – THANK YOU guys!!!

Hehehehee did you notice & wonder why tthe above Trolley is upside down???!!

Well it was cos my Hong Kong mates the guys pushed this Safeway Supermarket Trolley all the way home from Safeway Waurn Ponds – then had it cut & turned into a most special Australian BBQ Pit!!!!

YESSS there you could see our Australian BBQ chicken wings & meats being barbequed on the real hot charcoaled pit arhhahaha!!! We ladies back then were truely amazed!!! And hey our BBQ meats did taste sosoooo yummy & delicious

Well, I'm already very grateful that I got the chance to be back here again re-visiting Chenin Mews in Waurn Ponds Geelong – Another dream of mine came true

Safeway was the trading name used by Woolworths Limited until 2008 for its supermarkets in Victoria, Australia. Elsewhere in Australia the trading name is Woolworth. In August 2008, Woolworths announced the discontinuation of the "Safeway" name, & has since gradually rebranded Victorian stores as Woolworth. 

Here below I was outside the same SAFEWAY here in Warn Ponds Geelong after groceries shopping with my ex colleague cum uni room mate  - on 9th March 1997 :

Here agian below I was – calling Mom back home Singapore from this very exact same Public Phone Booth outside Telstra Shop here in Waurn Ponds Geelong – back on our very 1st day of arrival in Geelong from Singapore!!  Yes did you see our 2 new Australian Pillows & bags of groceries

Well, I couldn't be happier being able to shop here again in Kmart as this was a most favoruite place of mine during my uni days here in Geelong! Thank you Dear for making it possible for me to be back here

Well, National Wool Museum where we visited earlier has got some Geelong Bay Walk Bollards on sales, but I remember one at the Carousel Pavilion Souvenirs Store to be much nicer, so I got Dear to drive back there to buy it, while I continue shopping at Target in Market Square - Geelong City :)
