– a Venue that provides facilities for Arts & Craft Activities & a Gallery for Display of Sales of Members' works………………. Arriving at Nelson Head Inner Lighthouse – hmmm I've always fancied Lighthouses & often try visit one whenever possible during travelling – so far Dear has driven me to see Lighthouses in the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, & in Byron Bay in New South Wales, Australia  Oh I've also seen the Lighthouse at Queenscliff – hmm lovely Erected in 1972, & originally powered by 4 Kerosene Lamps – Nelson Head Inner Lighthouse is an inactive Lighthouse located on Nelson Head, a Headland Northeast of Nelson Bay Town, on the Southern Shore of Port Stephens. The light served guiding ships into the Port. Unlike other Lighthouses the Nelson Head Inner Lighthouse has no Tower. Instead, the light was shown through the window of the Lantern Room (which now houses the Maritime Muesum), and later mounted outside.
