What a Big JAWSSsss………..Dear’s & My most favourite Movie of all times since young………….& we’d loved to take the Great White Terror of JAWS boat Ride here at Universal Studios Florida if not for the too long Queuing line!! 

Hey Dear look at those BEARS covered with American Dollars heheh they’re so cute so cute!!! Too bad they aren’t for sales & we’ve got to play to win them in these Game Stalls :

6pm plus & Dusk has fallen now that Dear & I have come from Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone & World Expo to San Francisco/Amity here at Universal Studios Florida………..

And it seems that we’re again transported to yet another new World altogether as Dear & I stroll leisiurely hand in hand feeling much love & romance as of course we remember it’s Valentine’s Day today heheh!!

It’s a beautiful little replicated mature Coastal city of San Francisco/Amity here that we see………parked with lovely Coast Yachts & Boats by the Waterfront, & filled with charming Restaurants, Cafes & Shops by the sides of the World famous Fisherman’s Wharf………..

Hahah San Francisco & Fisherman’s Wharf – I know these places pretty well………they’ve got to be my favourite places on Earth & I really adored them & have missed them so much since visiting them years ago with my Family - those beautiful gorgeous days!!

Still remember this most popular Fisherman’s Wharf of San Francisco “Crab” Sign heheh :

Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride…Starring You! in San Francisco/Amity here at Universal Studios Florida – allowing Riders into the World of Disaster Movies!

As usual, there’s NO chance at all for Dear & I to take on the Ride as there’s a SUPER long Queue : 

Below shows the Ferries & Cliff House Railway Company (housed in a mission-style Brick structure), which is an actual Cable Car Rail Line in San Francisco around the turn of the Century :

Dear & I are now outside San Francisco Candy Factory – decorated with lovely giant Lollipops & Candies among Potted fresh plants with beautiful flowers by the front – very lovely!!

“Ee….er…….Dear it’s a Huanted Mansion!! So Errie & CREEPY!!”………..

Well, that’s actually Beetlejucie’s Graveyard Revue here in San Francisco/Amity at Universal Studios Florida – a Live Show featuring Universal’s classic Monsters such as Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula & Wolfman with Rock & Rock revue loud enough to Wake & Rise the DEAD!!

Dear & I are now approaching the replicated Seasonal Tourist Town of New England here at San Francisco/Amity in Universal Studios Florida, where we see lovely buildings housing more Cafes & Shops :

Soon, we arrive at New York in Universal Studios Florida, with architectural style & settings resembling the New York of yesterdays & today……….

NEW YORK New York!! – that’s another one of my best favourite place that I’ve travelled to so far!!

Hey Dear Dear there’re also Smoked Turkey Legs here in Universal Studios – selling Hot & Delicious outside Universal Trust in New York here – Not again for us since we’d already eaten twice at Walt Disney World & Islands of Adventure………….

Dear & I next visit the following Irish Imports (adorned with Green Color & 3 Leaf Clover) -  which is filled with merchandises all IRISH looking really cool & fun, & all in GREEN Color too as Green is the color of Irish!

It’s as close as getting to Ireland too heheh!! Btw Dear & I love to drink Baileys IRISH Cream (Liquor)!!

We’re now walking past Revenge of the Mummy – Museum of Antiquities – YEA YEA as usual Dear & I can only watch from outside these Attracation rides & walk past them cos we can never have the chance to ride them cos there’re constantly packed with super LONG queues forever!!!

Long long Queues since this morning wherever we went, be it the Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios Florida, & now that it’s getting dark, the Queues are even much longer haha!!

We’re now sitting at the Rim of the World at a popular High-Country Lookout in Donnell Vista located at one of America’s Oldest National Forest – Stanislaus National Forest :

The following sees us Cruising towards Alcatraz Prison located on Alcatraz Island (or called ”The Rock”, or simply “Alcatraz”) in San Francisco :

Used to serve as a Lighthouse & then a Military Fortification, Alcatraz later became a Federal Prison (till 1963) due to its isolation from the outside by the cold, strong & hazardous currents of the Waters of San Francisco Bay.

In 1972, Alcatraz became a National Recreation Spot, becoming a most popular Historic Site among Tourists till today, as we’re touring inside now :

Now, let’s see Me right beside America Falls (one of 3 Waterfalls that form Niagara Falls!) on the Niagara River along the Canada-US Border between the Twin Cities of Niagara Falls in New York (USA), & Niagara Falls in Ontario (Canada) – both named after the World famous Niagara Falls………

FUN Fun Fun!! Still remember my Family & I took on several tours sightseeing around, alongside, even “under” & “in-between” America Falls & Niagara Falls (both here in New York & Canada)!!

And YES of course there was the fantastic Maid of the Mist Cruise whick took us to the base of America Falls, then to the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls where we could hear the Waters thundering on the rocks…………

Feeling the cold mist on our faces & soaking in all the excitements & laughters in so much joy as the Great Waterfalls rushed from above & all around us……….that was a most WONDERFUL great experience!!

Here’s my Niagara Falls – American Falls Souvenir Magnet featuring Niagara Fall’s Maid of The Mist Cruise - HAHAH loved that fantastic Cruise & never stop telling Dear about it till today!!

Haha Dear also often hears me talking about my Travelling on the “Most Curly Road in the World!!” in my American Trip to San Francisco – located at Lombard Street which is San Francisco’s Crookedest Street!! That was really SUPERBLY Cool!! And these 2 below remind me greatly of that!!

Named the Longest Suspension Bridge Span in the World when it was completed in 1937, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco spans the Golden Gate, which is the Opening of San Francisco Bay, onto the Pacific Ocean – now the 2nd Longest Suspension Bridge span in America.

Haha still remember very well My family & I we saw the Bridge from all different angles during our Trip to San Francisco – from its top, bottom, sides, front, end – where ever we could find the spots to best view & take pis of/with it………

A Great Icon of San Francisco – the San Francisco Cable Car System is the World’s last permanently operational manually-operated Cable Car System – & now a Top Tourist Attraction!!

San Francisco Cable Car - Powell-Hyde Line Souvenir Magnet :

Built mostly between 1850 & 1915, & known for its complex structure & massive embellishments, the San Francisco Victorian Homes are based on the architectural style popular during the reign of Queen Victoria in England.  Designated as the Painted Ladies – these American Victorian Houses come in different unique styles & colors……..

The World’s Longest Suspension Bridge in the World upon completion in 1883, & designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1964, the first Steel-wire Brooklyn Bridge is one of the Oldest Suspension Bridge in USA today - stretching 5989 feet (or 1825m) over the East River, connecting the New York City boroughs of Manhattan & Brooklyn.

“Hey Dear Dear I wana go to The Haunted Mansion now!!! Come on let’s go!!!” Directing at Dear as I notice the majestic Haunted Mansion located atop a Hill overlooking Liberty Square, at the end of Fantasyland, in the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World :

“No la Dear we can’t enter from here cos this’s the back of The Haunted Mansion.” – Dear explains upon discovery…………..

“WOW Dear isn’t this place beautiful & it looks like we’re in a German or Swiss village ha?!?!” telling each other as Dear & I enter Liberty Square of Magic Kingdom in search of The Haunted Mansion entry, & remembering the times of our sweet Honeymoon in Europe…………….

We next enter a Disney Souvenir Store called The Yankee Trader for some shopping, & here below are Micky & MInnie Salt & Pepper Shakers – the same ones that I’ve got from Hong Kong Disneyland last May :

I was so happy upon seeing these Kitchen Gloves & I put them on happily asking Dear to snap the pics, & Dear actually said “My Dear Dear like ha, I buy for you la!!” But silly Me say “No la, I don wan them cos they’re not very nice upon closer look!!” - & such is the real truth cos they really don look nice at all upon close look, besides I already just saw the “Made in China” Tags underneath them…………Guess since I’m in America, I just wish to buy things American!!

In fact, Dear even asked if I’d like to have one of the Lime Green colored Kitchen Apron – which is of Tinker Bell – Neverland Recipes prints & I also say “Nope, NOT nice!” Hahaha cos actually I’ve already got MANY tens of very pretty Kitchen Aprons (from Europe, Australia, China, Chiang Mai & Singapore) back home!! Let me show you my Collection one free day ))

But somehow so strangely & funnily, these Minnie & Mickey Kitchen Gloves look so beautiful in these 2 pics posted here!! Guess it must be either my Camera’s very good or Dear’s photography is simply superb!!!

Dear & I are feeling really happy in the very cool weather of today as we stop to watch the Liberty Square Riverboat - the Liberty Belle – cruising by infront of us in the Rivers of America - & Dear wishes he’s onboard the huge authentic replica of a Steam-powered Riverboat :

Unfortunately, there’s a pretty long queue to the Riverboat cruise & Dear & I decide to give it a miss since we’ve already spent about 5 hours in Magic Kingdom, yet we’ve not even seen half of its theme parks!!

“Hey Dear Dear that’s The Haunted Mansion alright!! We’ve found it!!” as Dear & I run towards its lining Queue extending behind its wrought-iron gates on its left :

Here’s an Old-fashioned Black Hearse drawn by an Invisible Horse that stands at the Entrance of the Haunted Mansion, & if you walk closer to the “Invisible Horse” on its right, you can actually see its Horseshoes embedded in the pavement :

After about 15 mins of waiting, Dear & I are standing outside the Main Door to the gothic style of 18th Century Hudson River Valley Haunted Mansion, by the side of these following Tombstones in the Graveyard (with names of some of the Attraction’s original Designers & Developers), & they also come with punny epitahs such as “At Peaceful Rest, he’s BROTHER CLAUDE HERE BENEATH HIS SOD” & “Rest in Peace, BROTHER Huet. WE ALL KNOW YOU DIDN’T DO IT” :

Below’s the newest Tombstone at the Haunted Mansion – in honor of the late Walt Disney Imagineer Leota Thomas (whose Maiden name was Toombs) – And for a SPOOKY effect, Leota’s Sculpted Head leans forward, opens its bright Green Eyes, then closes again - for every few minutes – in times when you’re lucky (or unlucky) enough to see them!!

I am serious & not joking, but it’s just that my Camera’s not fast enough to capture her blink blink!!

Soon the Main Door to the Haunted Mansion opens for us to enter, & we’re led by the Mansion’s darkly attired with thick makeup Maid, who looks just like a VAMPIRE, into the Foyer where we’re greeted by our invisible “Ghost Host” – voiced by American Legendary Voice & Character Artist Paul Frees :

We’re then directed into an Octagonal Room with Green Bat Sculptures surrounding unusual Paintings encircling the upper Walls above its Fireplace………& soon the Paintings change………..going longer……………& longer – before our very eyes……………& one of the Portraits even ages……………..

Dear & I next exit the above Room into the following Dark Passageway where SPIDER-webbed chandeliers hang low from the ceiling……….Errr errie errie if not for the many people queuing infront & around us…………….but actually at this point we only wish there aren’t so many people here with us so that we’ll feel more scary cos afterall we’re supposed to be in a Haunted Mansion………….

Soon it’s Dear & My turn to be seated in one of these BLACK “Doom Buggies” to begin our CREEPY Journey through the Dark in the Haunted Mansion :

Err………..it’s so scary Dear Dear as we tell each other – & haha if you know me well enough, I’m a pretty timid girl, & I’m actually very afraid of the DARK!!! Seriously, I remember as a young girl till 12 years old, I’d SCREAM all the way whenever I ran down from the upstairs of my HUGE Kampong Villa House (well at least to me it is a VILLA)………..And I used to switch on all the lights in all rooms whenever I was alone at home, or unless I closed their doors………….

But actually, here’s where all the fun & excitements begin in The Haunted Mansion as Dear & I settle down comfortably & cosily inside our “Doom Buggy“…………..& soon our invisible ”Ghost Host” joins us continuing to explain the supernatural scenes that start unfolding around us in the Mansion as our “Doom Buggy” glides silently through the dark Library, Conservatory, Hallways…………

Then into the Ballroom with arrangements of Plates & adjoining Saucers on the Banquet Table, & where Holographic Images (known as “Pepper Ghosts” caused by a variation on an illusion) dance & play around the Room………..

Then we see Madame Leota’s disembodied Head projecting from a Crystal Ball………..& our “Doom Buggy” turns sideways……….dipping & turning at specific moments, directing our attentions to specific important elements in the Mansion that come alive with spooky noises & voices from the unknowns…………

Disembodied Heads “Floating” inside The Haunted Mansion :

We even move on to the Attic where Bats & Spiders appear……………then to our astonishment, our “Doom Buggy” travels backwards when going downhill making it a little frightening & Dear & I screaming slightly…………..but actually, we’re more excited than scared finding it rather humurous & very much of an enjoyment heheh………… 

And then we glide past Graveyards where Skeletons suddenly pop out………..with Howls of the Wolves & lots of Ghosts & Ghouls…………….

And towards the end, our “Doom Buggy” suddenly turns sideways…………passing infront of a Mirror where we can see our own reflections like an “Hitchhiking” Ghost appearing inside our Buggy right in our laps…………making both Dear & I jump with laughter………….& that’s when I wish there’s a hidden Camera right infront of us in The Haunted Mansion that snaps photos of us cos I wish to have a momento of our Darkest Journey as keepsake!

Too bad there isn’t any such facility but only just my imagination…………& luckily I manage to capture a quick snapshot of Dear & Myself inside our “Doom Buggy” just before our Journey through the Dark comes to a halt :

Dear & I soon walk out of our 8 mins Dark Journey along the 960-foot track inside The Haunted Mansion – wishing our Dark Journey would last much much longer…………& we’re both very impressed & absolutely love this Attraction deeming it the BEST & most FUN so far we’ve seen since arriving in the Magic Kingdom this morning………….

Its Animatronics, superb Special Effects & the attention to every details make The Haunted Mansion Attraction extremely charming, & Dear & I would love to ride it again & again if only we can afford the time – which is of course not possible since there’re constantly long queues & we’ve got only a day in here!!

For those visiting the Magic Kingdom soon, this is a MUST-DO Attraction that you’ve got to remember okie Trust Me!!! Trust me!!!

We’ve now stepped out of The Haunted Mansion where the Old-fashioned Black Hearse drawn by the Invisible Horse stands at the Entrance/Exit :
