After exploring the really cool & very interesting History of Human Spaceflights & personal Astronaut Memorabilia collections inside the US Astronaut Hall of Fame here in Titusville, Florida USA -
Dear & I proceed to The Gift Shop :
NASA – Kennedy Space Centre Souvenir Magnets?!?!? Hahah OF COURSE!!
Upon stepping into The Gift Shop I immediately head for a look-out for them – WHOA WHOA there’e tons of them here I’m extremely extremely overjoyed!!
NASA – Kennedy Space Centre Souvenir T-Shirts, Sweatshirts & Jackets are all available in here – too bad Dear’s feeling really warm to be bothered to pick one or two!!
Well, here’re my pool of NASA – Kennedy Space Centre Souvenir Magnets from The Gift Shop :
United States of America Flag with Bald Eagle Symbol on Kennedy Space Centre Souvenir Magnet :
The American Bald Eagle became the Country’s Official Bird in 1789 when George Washington became the Nation’s First President. 150 years later, the American Bald Eagle was protected under the National Emblem Act of 1940, when President John F. Kennedy wrote :
“The Founding Fathers made an appropriate choice when they selected the Bald Eagle as the Emblem of the Nation. The Fierce Beauty & Proud Independence of this great Bird aptly symbolizes the Strength & Freedom of America”
Here below is my Kennedy Space Centre STS (Space Transportation System) & Crawler-Transporter Souvenir Magnet :
NASA Space Shuttle Lift-Off Souvenir Magnet :
I’ve included an URL on the Space Shuttle Lift-Off – Check this out – http://science.howstuffworks.com/space-shuttle2.htm :
Two more Kennedy Space Centre – Space Shuttle Lift-Off Souvenir Magnets – hahah I find the white-yellow colored smoke on this below one so much like Popcorn Popcorn heheh!!
And I’m really happy to have found this following one cos I’ve been eyeing it since my Sister bought one for Mom some years ago during her visit to the Kennedy Space Centre – Mom loves its Space Shuttle :
Well, actually my Sister bought 2 of different designs & I chose the following “Moon Landing” one instead :
Well, I’m fasinated with the above Astronaut Neil Armstrong with the US Flag & the Apollo Lunar Lander on the Moon Landing on 20 July 1969 - as he said “That’s one Small step for a Man, but a Giant leap for Mankind”!!
Notice the vertical line across the word “SPACE” on the above Magnet!?!? That’s actually a crack cos I accidently broke it into 2 pieces few years ago then pasted it back
(( But I never think of buying another from The Gift Shop here to replace it as it’s a very treasured original piece from my Sister
))
Kennedy Space Centre – The Space Shuttle Souvenir Magnet :
Now the Space Shuttle is in Orbit after Lift-Off - here’s the link http://science.howstuffworks.com/space-shuttle3.htm on “The Space Shuttle in Orbit” :
Haha, these followings have got to be my most priced Souvenir Magnet treasures next to my Space Shuttle one which I showcased in my earlier Post -
United States of America NASA Astronaut Spacewalk Souvenir Magnets :
When things are not able to be done by robotics that need to be repaired, removed or added in Space, Astronauts have to conduct Spacewalks to take care of the problems – such is a specialised “Spacewalking” activity that requires a great deal of training, equipment & technology to enable Astronauts’ survival without suffering from a complete lack of air & pressure.
Here’s a link to “How Spacewalks Work” – http://science.howstuffworks.com/spacewalk.htm/printable :
Haha that’s Me all DOLLED Up in a NASA Astronaut Spacesuit during my “Spacewalk” at Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas USA – can’t help it but show this pic again now that I’m highlighting my Astronaut Souvenir Magnets heheh :
Let us now see my Astronaut Souvenir Magnet taken from different charming & beautiful angles :

Saturn V was a multi-stage liquid-fuel expendable Rocket used by Apollo & Skylab programs in NASA from 1967 to 1973 :
Below are NASA – Kennedy Space Centre Souvenir T-Shirts for Dear & his beloved Dad -
Pretty cool design with the Apollo Logo, American Flag & STC (Space Transportation System) Lift-Off, & NASA Logo side by side – am certain Dear’s Dad will love it!!
And these are our NASA – Kennedy Space Centre Shopping Bags :
Haha, wish Dear & I have got more time to shop in The Gift Shop here at the US Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, Florida USA - If not for the only 1 hour or so that we’re given by the Gray Line Tour Bus driver!!
In fact Dear & I rush through our shopping & arrive hastingly (but punctually) at our Tour Bus only to find out that we’ve still got to wait some 15 mins for a few other Tour mates who’ve yet to return!!
Anyway, I’m most glad that I manage to get more American additions to my World Souvenir Magnets Collection right now heheh
