Dear & I woke up very early that post morning of our Wedding Anniversary, & we were filled with much enthusiasm & excitement as we bought 2 tickets for our Shuttle Bus from our Hotel at Harbour Plaza Resort City to Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, where we intended to take a First Ferry to Macua for the day!!

Here’re our 2 Shuttle Bus Ticket Receipts :

The receptionist & security guard from Harbour Plaza Resort City were very friendly & kind they helped to inform our Shuttle Bus driver on the exact location nearest the Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui to let us off. And about an hour after leaving the Hotel in the bus, we got off directly opposite the building of China Hong Kong City (or “Zhou Guo Chen” in Chinese), where the New World First Ferry Terminal located is located.

And while we first walked into the Terminal towards the sale counter, we could hear loud Cantonese shoutings from a local Hong Konger in his mid 50s – he was very fierce & kept screaming at the Ferry Sales lady angrily in way too harsh a tone, demanding her to sell him the Ferry Ticket even he’d forgotten to bring his travel documents as required, or else he would be late for work etc etc!!! It was the 1st time both Dear & I had met such a fierce & mad Hong Konger & we were completely shocked & taken aback!! What a rowdy rowdy scene to witness so early that morning!!

Dear & I were just in time for the very next Ferry departing Hong Kong at 8.00am – & we’d be coming back from Macau at 8.00pm that very night too!! The followings are our Kowloon to Macau Ferry Tickets for Ordinary Class Seats, at HK dollar $133 per ticket, which is equivalent to about 27 Singapore dollars :

And to our much pleasant surprise, Dear & I were upgraded from our Ordinary Class Seats to Deluxe Seats at the upper deck upon embarking the First Ferry!! What good luck we had cos the seats were much more comfortable & cosier in the much less packed & crowded lower deck filled with rushing middle-aged men & women, mostly Chinese, eager to get into Macau’s Casinos!! Besides, the prices were at a 105 HK dollar extra for each ticket which we never had to pay – really cool ha!!

Upon our Ferry’s departure from Hong Kong, I started to take some snapshots of the gloomy Skyline of Hong Kong under the rain, from the back of our Ferry’s window :

Hmm……it was still raining……….It was already raining pretty heavily & looking very gloomy when we left Harbour Plaza Resort City that morning before 7.30am, & both our hearts kinda sunk low, but Dear & I still decided to go ahead with our Macau trip cos we’d planned for that day way before we even started our China trip!!

Haha both Dear & I were so excited about travelling to Macau & we were both so happy happy!!

Dear & I dozed off now & then during our very relaxed & cool Ferry ride while at the same time trying to stay awake to look at the outside sceneries till about 45 mins later – “Hey Dear Dear we’ve already arrived at Macau Macau!!” we yelling at each other as we caught our very first sight of Macau from where we were seated onboard the First Ferry from Hong Kong!!

WOW WOW we didn’t know that Macau has such huge long beautiful Bridge (which we later found out was the Taipa Bridge)!!

Besides Hong Kong, Macau – a former Portuguese Colony & both the first & last European Colony in China until the Handover in 1999, is one of the 2 Special Administrative of the Republic of China, lying in the Western side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong Province in the North, & facing South China Sea in the East & South.

We’ve now set foot on Macau Island & below’s Dear standing at the Macua Ferry Terminal with the Miniature Forbidden City across the waters behind him – heheh that must be some kind of Miniature World?! Well, we later realised that was the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf – interesting :

And upon stepping into the Macua Ferry Terminal, we visited its Macau Visitor Information Centre to take its complimentary Tourist Maps & Brochures, & asked for directions & tips from its friendly staffs before we were both so ready to explore Aomen Macau!!!

Dear at  the door to our Hotel Room No 2127 at Harbour Plaza Resort City :

And upon entering our Room, we were met by our 2 precious Babies Smartie & Sparkie, seated together so adorably on the neatly made-up bed!!

Heheh the Hotel chambermaid had actually placed Smartie in a hugging Sparkie from behind position on our bed – how nice of her!

And to see Smartie & Sparkie in as such a cute seating position (though differently) as we found them when we woke up that morning really made our hearts smile!!

Dear & I soon came out of our Room to go shopping at the Kingswood Ginza which is connected to the Hotel – & well, it was around 9.45pm then & only the following Park n Shop Superstore was open :

Wow Wow there was my favourite Strawberries – Dear holding the Packet of Long Stem Strawberries which we later bought :

And we shopped for a while cos we wanted to go for Supper heheh – the following are some snapshots I took inside the Park n Shop Superstore :

Dear & I decided to have our supper in the following “Ah Yi Sao Er Fan Dian” (meaning “No 1 Roasted Goose Restaurant”) in Kingswood Ginza :

And soon afterwards came our most yummy Hong Kong Cuisines – BBQ Spare Ribs & Roasted Goose - Hmm……Dear & I couldn’t wait to tuck in tuck in!!

These Cuisines were all our favourites & looking at them now makes me drool……haha!!! We’d wanted to order more like Suckling Pig & Char Siew or Roasted Pork but there wasn’t any left as the Restaurant was about closing!!

Haha I could still remember my sister used to bring home the whole Roasted Goose all the way from Hong Kong back home to Singapore for us & they were so Yummy Yummy!! And so were these!!!

And here’s the close-up view of our BBQ Spare Ribs – these tasted kinda sweet (like honey-glazed) & they were really delicious!! Still remember fondly my Dad used to bring home such yummy tasty tender BBQ Spare Ribs from Katong in Singapore!! Those were my happiest happiest days!!

And here’s our big bowl of local Soup Noodles garnished with diced Spring Onions – & we were surprised that the Noodles look like Instant Noodles!!

And amazingly they were delicious & the broth tasted so good!!

And to our pleasant surprise, there were Roasted Peanuts underneath the Roasted Goose – so crunchy & most delicious!!

The skins of the Roasted Goose was crispy & the meat very tasty & well-prepared – actually Roasted Goose is similar to Roasted Duck except that Gooses are normally bigger in size & their meat slighter tougher :

Both Dear & I had such a yummy yummy supper we were telling each other how lucky we caught the Restaurant just in time before it closed – if not we wouldn’t be able to sample such gourmet Cuisines of Hong Kong on that special Wedding Anniversary night of ours!!

Well, above is the already closed Sky Comics Shop at Kingswood Ginza near the “Ah Yi Sao Er Dian” – I took the snapshot cos I found the many big & small toys inside pretty amusing heheh!! 

And well, below’s Moon Ting Fong Chinese Restaurant at Harbour Plaza Resort City which is connected to Kingswood Ginza - here we saw display of Chinese Rice Dumplings (or “Zongxhi” in Chinese) - ”HEY Dear they even have Abalone Rice Dumplings!!! I wana buy!! I wana buy!!” I shouted most excitedly to Dear!!

Haha I was so happy to see the above signboard as it was near the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival (or “Duan Wu Jie” in Chinese) & I’d actually been looking out for special Chinese Rice Dumplings since arriving in Hong Kong cos I’d wanted to buy some back home for Mom & Dad!!

Unfortunately unfortunately it was all a false alarm of happiness on my part cos these were just samples & there wasn’t any Rice Dumplings (Abalone or meat etc types) yet for sales!!! Cos the Chinese waitress said that the Dumplings would only come in a week later, but Dear & I would already be leaving Hong Kong in 2 days’ time!!! Errrrr…..errrrrr I was so mad so mad & so sad so sad!!!! 

We soon walked through Moon Ting Fong Chinese Restaurant back to Harbour Plaza Resort City lobby :

And while exploring the Hotel lobby, Dear & I met our 2 mother-daughter tour mates & we started chatting about their Lantau Island & our Hong Kong Disneyland visits that afternoon – Auntie laughingly telling us that they had only had time to travel to Lantau Island (Ngong Ping 360) & back again from the Island via Cable Car without even stepping into the Ngong Ping Village cos there was simply no time as the queues to the skyrail were far too long!!

And then Auntie & daughter started sharing with us their greatest deal of unlimited dinner buffet at Kingswood Ginza which was so cheap & so good etc at less than ten Singapore dollars each!!

And well, we all continued chatting for a while at the Hotel lobby before Dear & I said Good Nite to our 2 friends & departed to our Room – what a nice nice way to end our Wedding Anniversary night after a whole long day of fun explorations, romance & laughters, sweet shopping sprees & marvelicious Cuisines in Hong Kong heheh!!!

As Dear & I were leaving Hong Kong Disneyland feeling very much in love after the spectcular “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks, we stopped by a Snack Bar Counter to buy 2 Bottles of fresh Water Melon Juice & Soy Bean Milk :

We’ve now reached the main exit/entrance of Hong Kong Disneyland where the Disney Railroad Station stands above the Mickey Mouse Head Flower Arrangement :

Dear & I are now walking out of Hong Kong Disneyland to our Tour Coach pick-up area – here looking at the lit-up Mickey Surfing Above Whale Water Fountain at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Promenade :

And then we decided to take some snapshots of ourselves together for the last time inside the Disneyland Resort  – for Memories sake since that night was our 6th Wedding Anniversary night :

And we were still feeling so in love & blissful especially after half day of fun & romance together at the Magical land ……………

Mmmm……..& still feeling very much excited & our hearts dancing……………

And we felt really blessed to have found each other too heheh!!

And very soon we had to bid Disneyland GOODBYE – See ya See ya MICKEY & MINNIE!! We’ll miss you both lots lots!! And we love you so much so much!!

We’re now looking at the MTR Disneyland Resort Station just outside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort :

And here’s the Disneyland Bus Station next to the MTR Station - so you see it’s really very convenient to travel to Hong Kong Disneyland in Penny’s Bay at Lantau Island, cos you can always come here by public transports such as the MTR & Bus!!

Dear & I are now back inside our Hong Kong Tour Coach :

And we were pretty exhausted haha!!

But still, we were feeling so good & happy, as though we could still hear & see the magical sounds & dazzling & sparkling lights of the Magical Land on earth, & our hearts filled with so much love & cheers…………….

And soon we fell asleep inside the Coach till we arrived at our Hotel for the night – Harbour Plaza Resort City, located at Tin Shui Wai at the New Territories :

Dear & I were still at the Main Street USA inside Hong Kong Disneyland – waiting for the biggest event to be held right at the end of the Street above the Sleeping Beauty Castle :

And YES YES we were waiting for the “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks to be starting at 8pm sharp, like everybody else, cos it was a MUST-NOT miss!!!

Here’s the dimly lit-up Sleeping Beauty Castle at the end of Main Street USA - See the huge crowds already gathered at the Street awaiting the Fireworks!

Dear standing at the Main Street USA where there were people young & old either standing around, or sitting by the sides, all waiting for the Fireworks!

While waiting, Dear & I decided to snap some self-portraits of ourselves together, cos how could we forget to take some photos together especially when we were both celebrating our 6th Wedding Anniversary at the Disneyland that day & night!!

Then Dear decided that we should get a local Chinese Sales girl from the nearby Market House Bakery to help us take our pics, so here they’re – Dear & I, both carrying huge Disney Shopping Bags full of our Disneyland Souvenirs, standing in the midst of the huge crowds gathered at the Main Street USA :

And immediately soon after we were being photographed, the long awaited “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks was finally beginning – much to everyone’s cheers & delights as the Sleeping Beauty Castle started changing from one color to another!!

Pinkish to Purplish………..

Purplish to Blue………….

Then from Blue to Pinkish Blue…………

Then to Bluish White……….

And then………the real MAGIC began………….when the Castle brightened up in flashes of Fireworks!!!

Bursting……….

And splashing into bright lights of flashes………….

And the Fireworks soon rising…………… 

And heightened into the sky………..with more & more beautiful colors!!

And at the same time Dear & I jumped & cheered aloud like everybody else in the crowds, our heartbeats bumping really fast & quick!!

And the Sleeping Beauty Castle splashed out in even more spectacular & brighter flashes of Fireworks & lights……………

And suddenly more & bigger sparks of Fireworks jolted out & up at the end of both sides of the Main Street USA……….

And surrounding the Sleeping Beauty Castle………..into Magic Wonders of Delights!!

And that was to be the end of the most fantastic “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks at the Hong Kong Disneyland…………

As the Sleeping Beauty Castle slowly dimmed into darkness, & the sky into smoke vapour in silence………as the Crowds began to disperse & leave………….

What a beautiful experience for Dear & I to have witnessed such a huge & spectacular Fireworks together, & also on such a special Wedding Anniversary night of ours – we truely were so blessed, & we felt so much in love!!!

And was I most pleased that I’ve got my Hong Kong Disneyland ”Disney in the Stars” Fireworks T-shirt which I bought from Fantasyland earlier in the afternoon :
