- Great Taste of these BBQ Mutton Kebabs bring back fond memories of the savory Kebabs I ate in Tulufan (Turpan) & Beijing’s Wangfujing Street - hmmmm………..but right now I’m too full for that cos just had dinner!!
Here’s a lovely view of the Mystic Lake Grand Hotel located in Burqin on the Bank of Ertish (E Er Qi Si) River – West Altay (Aletai), Silk Road of China :
These kids are so beautiful…………..
Now, I’ve just got myself the following beautiful Scarf Hat set from the Kids’ mummy – am sossosooooooo pleased hehehehhh!!!
”Kao Bai Shu” is Roasted Sweet Potato – yummy yummy still remember the one I ate & enjoyed so much in Mingsha Shan (Echoing-Sand Mountain) after my most wonderful Camel-riding in Dunhuang – Silk Road of China!! Below’s a Chestnuts & Roasted Sweet Potatoes Stall at the local Burqin Market :
There’re also many Melon Fruits – Water Melon, Artillery Shell Melons & Changmihong Melons lying by the side of the bustling Market. And of course I remember the Melon Fruits Stall I visited while travelling through the Oasis of Dunhuang - I especially remember very well its Toilet hahahaa!!
Ummmm I wonder if these Beijing Roast Ducks (or rather “Burqin Roast Duck“!!!) taste as good as the Peking Duck I had in Beijing……….& each costs only 13Yuan thats so cheap!!
Ohhhh I absolutely love Xinjiang Nangs - remembering the sososooo delicious Nangs (or “Enani Bread“) I had in Urumqi – Silk Road of China :
Hey, there’re also Mooncake Stalls just at the end of the Burqin Market as the Mid-Autumn Festival’s soon approaching…………..
Now, we see Chinese Bakery with beautiful yummy looking cakes & lovely Cake Boxes :
Brother-in-law Ah Hia & I bid the Chestnuts & Roasted Sweet Potatoes Shu Shu (Mandarin for “Uncle“) good-bye before we hit on the street of interesting Burqin exploring further into the night…………..
